:-/ Hi ppl! Congrats to Aerosmith Hobby for getting this forum n the 'new' website up & running.

Jus a note abt Emax 2200mAh Lipo. Website recommended it for Trex, BeltCP etc. I've used it on my Trex 450s (430L motor); it puffs up after a few 'mild' general flights; no 3D stuff (i'm a newbie). Cud b tt the 15C discharge rate is not enuff for the 430L motor.

Luckily the gd ppl at Aerosmith gv me a replacement, Dualsky xp22003gt with a bit of top up $.... haha. This lipo pack rocks! Strongly recommended.

Any other members here who's into heli? ;D

We are glad to help. Unfortunately things like this happens, it is our policy to extend as much help as possible to make sure our product fulfill pilot's needs.

Following your case, we have examined the returned battery. Even though your case is an isolated case, we have examined the battery. We found that all 3 cells were bloated slightly. A capacity check reveal a reduction in effective capacity compared to normal. This are indications of excessive capacity discharge as oppose to excessive Amps discharge. So far we have sold many emax batteries to beginner trex, mini titan and belt cp flyers with no negative feedback. We ourselves are checking and pushing our range of battery all the time, I have flown similar emax battery on 56mm hyperflow edf on a 4300kv motor. I have gone thru 22 cycle and it is still going strong. As such we do suspect that specific battery may have been defective at the manufacturer level. We are sorry to have troubled you to contact us further to have your batts changed.

Further decision was made to upgrade all our emax battery from 15C burst 20C to 20C burst 25C at the same price. This would eliminate the remote possibility of over amps dischage on the Belt CP range of helis.

Hope this would shed some light on your case. We appreciate feedback from our clients/customers and will try our best to provide more info.

Best regards
Aerosmith
